The Federation of All India Caterers (FAIC) is guided by a potent and unifying motto: “We are one.” This ethos underscores our commitment to solidarity, ensuring that individual challenges faced by any member become a collective responsibility. We navigate the complexities of GST, Food & Safety Licenses, and Government Policies, providing comprehensive support to all members. Our advocacy has led to significant legislative changes, including the enactment of a new law for outdoor catering and a recommended GST revision from 18% to 5%. We’ve simplified the Food & Safety Act for outdoor catering and conducted numerous workshops across India, empowering our fellow professionals with knowledge and understanding.

To fortify our mission, we conduct National Conventions biennially, creating a platform for members to exchange ideas and learn from industry experts. These conventions, accompanied by exhibitions, provide vendors from the food & beverages industry an opportunity to showcase their products and interact directly with caterers.

The Federation of All India Caterers (FAIC) takes pride in the successful execution of four grand Conventions & Exhibitions to date. The inaugural event was held in Ahmedabad in 2014, followed by Mumbai in 2016, Jaipur in 2018, and most recently, Gandhinagar in 2022 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre. We are delighted to announce the forthcoming 5th Convention & Exhibition, scheduled from August 9th to 11th, 2024, at the esteemed Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana. We look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence and industry collaboration.

In our endeavor to keep members connected and informed, we launched ‘FAIC News,’ a monthly publication initiated in March 2017. This vibrant, multi-colored magazine provides updates from across the country, discusses current affairs impacting the food industry, and features insightful articles by renowned writers.
